Bramble's First Day

Bramble was great last night, hardly any fussing at all. She seems to like the crate. It was the quietest night we've ever had with a new puppy in the house!

Her toilet training is so far going very well. We have a spending pen outside, and as soon as she has done her busy busy she gets let out free into the garden and gets lots of praise. She is very intelligent and picking it up quickly.

She went to the vets this morning and has had her vaccination and been microchipped. She weighed 8.8kg and also has big paws, so I'd say she's going to be big! Bramble's sister, Bella is also being puppy walked to be an assistance dog.

I did some training with her this morning and she is a very quick learner and very food motivated; she already knows a "sit" and "down" which is great.

We introducing her to our other dogs, including Skye (our other foster puppy who will be moving into advanced training soon)

Bramble goes to the beach
We took her down to my grandparents house this afternoon. Luckily she loves the car! We took her to the beach for a free run, we didn't spend long though as she did seem to be getting cold. As she is so young, she doesn't have longer than 10 minute walks at the moment.

A trip to the library - Bramble takes it all in her stride
We also quickly popped into the library where she met some new people, including the librarians who were all fussing over her. Everyone always says how cute she is, and well, she is!! Completely adorable.

Bramble seems to have a lovely temperament she is very friendly, gentle, and chilled out.

The whole family have fallen for her - hook, line & sinker!
