A Goat Encounter

Taking a nap with her teddy
Today Bramble was home alone for the first time, without any of the other dogs. Although we try and bring her everywhere, it's also important she can stay home alone happily. She was pleased to see us when we got back but it was clear she hadn't been too bothered by the experience!

She is getting good now about settling down in the house - she will go crazy and run around in the garden with Amber but then will settle down on the dog bed once inside. Previously I found that I would have to put her in her crate if she needed to have a sleep; so it's good progress.
On her "working" outing

Her toilet training is going well and she now seems to be consistently going through the night. In the day she's pretty good too, as long as I bring her out reguarly.

The cows are back in the field beside our house and she likes going up to the fence and just watching them. Much better than last time when she was terrified of them!

This afternoon the goats escaped and Bramble was outside - so she went over slightly too inquisitively to see Hermione who promptly head butted her.  I think she learnt her lesson not to mess with the goats!

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!
