Night Time Settling Improves

Bramble on her bed
Bramble was much better last night, thank goodness! We played with her and she was running around with Holly so by the time she was put in her crate she was so worn out she fell fast asleep. I took her out at 1:30am when she began to fuss and she did go for a busy busy. As soon as she was back in the crate she settled again with no fussing. Then again at 6.30am she woke, again went out, did her busy busy, but at that stage she decided it was morning time and the other dogs wanted to get up too, so we just got up then. Tonight I'm hoping it'll be nearer 2am so then she'll be getting up again around 7am which is the time  we normally get up.

Bramble and her antler chew
Bramble's favourite toy is the antler chews we have, she loves to both chew on them and play with them. So far she hasn't tried to chew on any furniture which is great. She does sometimes try to mouth our hands when we pet or play with her but we just encourage her towards her chew toys and then praise her when she chooses to chew on them.

Feeding time!
Bramble is currently having 3 meals a day, and this will happen until she's 6 months old. She is learning to sit and wait before she can eat her dinner. She likes her food but sometimes tries to eat the other dogs, so we just put her back by her bowl and then she tucks into hers. Preparing their food can take a while with 4 dogs to feed, but Bramble is good about sitting quietly while the dinners are prepared.

At the moment she has short bursts of energy where she'll run around, play and explore, and then after a little while she'll get tired and take herself off to her bed. She reminds of us of Amber as a puppy. Yesterday she would sometimes slip and fall over on the wood floors but she seems to have got the hang of them now.
