Busy Bramble!

Bramble's had a busy few weeks! She's been to puppy classes, had lots of fun walks (including to the beach & forest) met our chickens & goats, been to town several times (including a trip to a hairdressers) and we've been doing lots of training in the garden. Next week we are taking her to England for the week which will include a trip on a ferry and a visit to Crufts!

So her socializing is going very well. On the whole she is very confident and takes new things in her stride. However, I have noticed she is wary of walking through automatic doors in shops & out of lifts. I have done some work on this and she is improving. Other than that I can't think of anything she has been nervous of.

Meeting our chickens and goats happened as soon as she had been vaccinated. She is very playful and tries to play with them which doesn't go down too well with the goats & hens! She hasn't really noticed the gerbils in their cage yet (probably because they spend most of their time sleeping in the day!) The cows are in the field beside our house today but she's wary of them (to be fair they must be like giants to her)

Her toilet training is progressing well with fewer and fewer accidents. Hopefully this will stay this way with our holiday house in England, too!

Bramble seems to be getting along well with my dog, Amber. She loves to play with the puppies, as long as they have some manners! She gets a toy and teases them with it and then runs off for them to chase her! Bramble is getting the idea now and playing nicely with Amber. She is a bit rough for Holly (to be fair Bramble is 4x Holly's size now!) but we're hoping she'll learn to be more gentle over time.

Yesertday our other foster puppy for AADI, Skye left us to move into Advanced training. Bramble got on well with Skye too and it is very empty around here without Skye around! Bramble's keeping us busy though : ) I made a video of our year with Skye which you can view here

Here are some photos of Bramble, as you can see she is growing bigger everyday!
